Back from Hiatus, will post soon
Don't ask me why, I just haven't posted in ages (3 months, I think). I'd love to tell you I've been exceptionally busy (I've been busy, but not too much so), or that I have had no inspirations (I've had some, but obviously nothing so burning it forced me to write). In general, I've just not been in the mood for writing of late. I think it's starting to change, and I have some thoughts I want to write about the Moussaoui trial, which I will post later.
I think that I've had to write some really big motions at work lately and have just burned out on writing for fun for a little while. It's starting to come back, though, don't worry.

Hi there. I just found your site, and have been checking out your archives for the past hour. great stuff, I'm glad there will be more of it. I am a former law school student and i like to hear first person accounts of what its really like "out there" in the practice of criminal law. I have to admit, other than avoiding the $120,000 debt I was headed towards (and having to repay it on a prosecutor's salary), i actually regret dropping out. Who knows, maybe I'll get a second chance at it one day. In the meantime, great site, will be back.

Sometimes we just need time for ourselves I think, too much of the same can do some damage to our head and health.
